For me, art is a means, a possibility – a particular possibility of self-actualization, communication and cooperation. My life is art.
Living Sculpture
Since 1969, the artist has been running his life performance, The Art of Boots – The Art of Trousers – The Art of Andrzej Dudek-Dürer (living sculpture). This year brings the 40th anniversary of this activity. The artist’s boots and trousers, used daily for tens of years, are presented in his art, and are confronted by the audience, often unconscious of their special properties. They are also art works in themselves, regularly maintained and documented.
Mental Steps
For the purposes of the exhibition at WRO Art Center, by means of cooperation with Paweł Janicki, the artist produced three new interactive installations. They are exhibited along a retrospective presentation of his videos and performances.

Interactive Installations
Meta Timeclutch
Interactive installation juxtaposing generative (random) elements with the activities of the audience, producing a sonic and visual environment consisting of elements related to the Living Sculpture and the artist’s travels around the world. The movements of the spectator brings up and modulates transforming images and sounds.
Level of Reminder
Installation based on sound and scent, an interactive composition of auditory events and scents, leading us at the border of dreams, experiences, into the (collective) unconscious.
Trans Reflection
Images captured by two cameras pointing at the same spot is processed and mixed in real time. The visage of the spectators, as they enter the cameras’ vision, is displayed, disturbed by random transformations and sounds.
